Since the 25th of July 2003 is the law of electronic communication in effect. According to this law, anyone who visits a web site must be informed about cookies and the possibilty to reject cookies.

A cookie is a small text file with information that is necessary for certain kinds of functions on the web site. This text file is created on the visitors computer.

There is two kinds of cookies - permanent and temporary. On the Hultafors' web site both the temporary cookies, so called session cookies, and permanent cookies are in use. When visiting Hultafors' web site the cookie is sent between the visistors computer and the Hultafors web sever in order to support navigation for example.

The temporary (session) cookies disappears after the session is finished. Permanent cookies is used to save language settings for users and to save users name for login. Password is not saved in cookies.

Permanent cookies are deleted after about three years. Hultafors do not save any personal information so visitors can be tracked.

The Hultafors web site also uses cookies to count page views and visitors for statistical purposes. The collected information is anonymous and does not contain name, email-adress or other personal information.

If you dont approve the use of cookies, you can disable this function in your web browser security properties. This might however restrict the functionality of the web site.
